- Application of concepts from physics and mathematics to understand and influence processes in the life sciences
- Numerical and statistical methodology for nonlinear modeling, parameter estimation and uncertainty analysis
- Processing and analysis of quantitative biological data
- Mechanistic ODE modeling of PKPD data
- Identification of ideal administration strategies of ESAs for anemia patients
- Impact of chosen parametrization on optimization performance
